A dark knight charges into battle: This tabletop miniature depicts a beast rider on an armored giant beetle/scarabaeus, rearing up with wide-open mandibles. The rider firmly holds the reins, raises a massive tower shield already pierced by arrows, and swings the mace for a strike - a determined forward motion that captures the moment before impact. The warrior convincingly embodies a plate warrior, warlord, and champion, bringing the raw presence of an insect cavalry unit to the table. The figure features heavy plate armor with riveted segments and prominent spiked shoulders. A closed, horned helmet gives the silhouette a menacing authority, while the broad torso with straps and buckles emphasizes its robust construction. The mace rests in the right hand, while the left secures the large tower shield; an additional equipment strap for field use hangs from the belt. The mount - a monstrous beetle with armored carapace, massive mandibles, and protruding fangs - carries saddle and reins, along with hanging trophies and ropes that accentuate the rugged character of this monster rider. The base depicts disturbed ground, conveying dynamic unrest, allowing the miniature to seamlessly integrate into various terrains. Whether as a hero model, boss figure, or monster rider: The Dark Knight is excellent for wargaming, skirmish, and dungeon crawls, making an impressive presence both on the front line and on display. Thanks to the detailed portrayal of the rider and scarabaeus, the miniature serves as a focal point in any fantasy miniature collection, especially for fans of distinctive insect cavalry. The figure is delivered unpainted and is available in both 28 mm and 32 mm. This allows it to fit perfectly into 28 mm for compact skirmish projects while also complementing 32 mm as a hefty addition to larger wargaming armies. Whether you prefer 28 mm or lead your collection in 32 mm - this Dark Knight as beast rider on giant beetle/scarabaeus brings cinematic movement, robust plate armor, and the uncompromising energy of a true champion to the gaming table.
